In a few months time the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre will reopen its doors. We are 100% sure that we can do that when it is safe to do so for our customers and staff.
One thing we want to do when we reopen is support the freelance artistic economy around Hyndburn. We want to do that by offering mini commissions for a number of artists and creatives to manage projects in or around the Civic. At the moment we don’t know what that will look like or how many mini commissions there will be - that will depend on how much funding we raise.
All of the money from this Go Fund Me fundraiser will go towards these mini commissions which will help kick start the local artistic economy again when it is safe to do so.
