Ocean X Team
Dennis Åsberg & Peter Lindberg

Ocean X Team AB is a Swedish registered company with the purpose of searching for hidden treasures and historic artefacts. The company started in the beginning of the 1990’s when Peter and his partners found a sunken American B-17 bomber near the Swedish east coast, followed by the famous discovery of the Swedish schooner Jönköping and the salvage of a lot of Champagne and Cognac bottles from the ship wreck. Some years after that Peter was accompanied with Dennis and together they formed the company which is now the Ocean X Team AB.

Our work consists in time consuming research in different kinds of sources. We spend a lot of time seeking information in libraries and official registers that are provided by the authorities as well as private subjects. Sometimes this work uncovers hidden information regarding sunken ships or other vessels or objects, which may be interesting enough for us to continue researching. During the years we have performed many exciting and thrilling investigations and expeditions. We have came across several interesting cases and mysteries. Many of them have shown to be dead ends, but some of them must be regarded as relevant in such an extension that we have decided to investigate them further. Ocean X Team has successfully salvaged a number of wine bottles from the wreck of Astrid and has located the wreck of Kyros with a great numer of bottles conatining cognac and liqueur. In addition to that Ocean X Team managed to salvage some bottles with wine dated approximately 1660-1680, which isprobably one of the oldest drinkable wine on the planet.

To be successful in this kind of activities we don’t only need to do a good research work. We also need good equipment and good personnel. I addition to that we also need a good portion of luck. Unfortunately this is not enough. We also need financial means that are necessary to enable the performance of the investigations and the expeditions. Equipment and personnel are not for free. We are in a current situation where we have spent almost all of our private savings, and there is still a lot to do which is now stopped because of lack of money.

Since we started we have got an increasing number of enthusiastic followers supporting us with their leads, advice and cheering. This makes it especially disappointing for us not being able to carry on the work with our projects and disclosing all the discoverys we make. We all want a conclusion to be presented regarding some specific objects that we have discovered. Many of our followers have recommended us to start a fund page to help us obtain financial means to restart our work. So, here it is

Ocean X Team Fund Page
Please, help us to continue our work!
- We don’t only want to hunt for adventure and treasures, we also want to discover and disclose mysteries and provide answers to certain questions – not always in the governments and private companies interest of power and profit

We are very greatful for every contribution, so please donate any sum to our account.

The projects that for financial reasons now are on hold are:

The Baltic Sea Anomaly
Our project that perhaps has got the most attention is our discovery of a thing on the sea bed of the Baltic Sea, which has the shape of a gigantic circular object. It was discovered in 2011 more or less by mistake when we were searching for a specific ship wreck using a sonar equipment. We still don’t know what is the kind or the origin of the object, though we have made a lot of effort trying to find out and explain it. Thishas resulted in different theories, but none of them has yet been proven valid. Due to lack of money and that no Finnish or Swedish authorities or private investors have shown any substantial interest in providing financial support to the project, we unfortunately have had to put it on ice. To be able to restart this project, we need financial support to pay for equipment and personnel, film equipment, and editing the new documentary.
