ANDREWS AUTISM THERAPY CHICKENS
Fundraising to help Andrew my 10 year old son a chicken coop and enclosed aviary.
Andrew has a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD, He also went through a trauma at 3 years old, which has caused additional mental
and emotional issues for him.
Andrew struggles to make friends due
to his autism, he often spends his time alone playing video games and he suffers with depression and often
feels lonely due to this and lockdown has been an extra struggle emotionally and mentally for him.
Chickens will give Andrew a reason to get up everyday, a little responsibility and comfort when he feels low and alone.
The photographs of Andrew were taken during one of his play therapy visits at the wonderful urban nature retreat.
We would greatly appreciate your support in making this happen, Andrew has been through a lot and it would be nice to see him in a more calm and peaceful place moving forward, it breaks my heart watching him try his best but always struggle and listening to him when he crys because he feels so alone. Andrew is at his calmest physically, emotionally and mentally when outdoors and connecting with animals as you can see in his photos, and it would be wonderful to bring that into our home setting.
We are fundraising for a spacious aviary enclosure, and coragated roofing with a chicken coop and all the basics required this will provide Andrew and his chickens safe and with a peaceful environment.
We will post regular updates regarding Andrews aviary, coop, and chickens as it all begins to come together, and of course how it benefits Andrew emotionally, mentally and physically with his Autism moving forward.

So far we have raised £280 via mums fundraising raffle, Mini readings and via family donations, but we still need to raise more.
