Surgery Funding

Hello World,

I am Sandra. I am a 33 year old woman resorting to the last method available to me... crowdfunding. 

Having been in pain for many years, with  the last three months becoming unbearable, I was told I had suspected endometriosis and surgery was of utmost priority in order to treat it. I had surgery booked in for 05/08/2020 but my insurance company have declined funding. I’m unable to receive public funding as my work visa is not eligible.

I am currently in New Zealand unable to travel home due to border restrictions and so I am looking at an unknown timeframe for treatment.

My biggest dream in life is to one day be a mother. I fear the unknown result of this disease (which I have potentially had for years) on my fertility. This, along with the the crushing pelvic pain, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel symptoms and ever changing hormone levels, make for a truly testing time.

I am in touch with a truly wonderful surgeon who has done his utmost to give me the most cost effective quote that he can and so the goal is based on his estimates.

I know the world is a crazy place right now and so I truly appreciate the time you have taken to read this!
