The European Conservative

Donation protected
Our dedicated team of volunteers has put the finishing touches on the Winter 2020/21 edition of 'The European Conservative' (No. 18). It was released as a PDF on January 6, 2021. We are now trickling out its contents, one article at a time, via Facebook and Twitter.

As with previous editions, we hope to be able to produce the full-colour, high-resolution print version in a few weeks, which we send via post to friends, supporters, and anyone who is interested in knowing more about what we do in our free time.

If you like what we do, we ask that you consider making a donation, large or small, to help us with our general costs and to pay writers. While most of our contributors have usually been willing to provide written content pro bono, to continue to expect such generosity -- particularly when so many of them depend on their writing for their livelihood -- would be inappropriate and an abuse of their friendship.

As some of you already know, we are an occasional publication, prepared since 2012 by a small group of volunteers across Europe and in the Americas. While we hope that we soon will be able to secure institutional support to ensure our continued existence and expand our activities -- ideally as a quarterly -- we must, for the time being, continue to rely on individual supporters, generous friends, and anonymous donors.

We realize that during this time of a global pandemic and diminished economic activity worldwide to expect donations may be expecting too much. But we also know that nothing is ever achieved without asking boldly.

The progressive Left and those who seek to undermine Western Civilization have innumerable outlets for their ideas and have no problem placing their articles in the mainstream media or finding online platforms from which to disseminate their toxic message. But they also have no problems finding institutional support or appealing to government largesse to finance their activities.

In contrast, we on the right have to rely on our wits and creativity, and on the charity, generosity, and volunteerism of people around the world who share our values. This puts us at a tremendous disadvantage -- which is why we appeal to you. Please consider supporting our work.
