Show Face Festival is a virtual theatre festival showcasing new work created by emerging writers, actors, directors and designers across a series of virtual platforms from 28th-31st August 2020.

Throughout the virtual festival, we will be showcasing over 50 powerful performances by our emerging creatives, inspired by our festival's theme of 'showing your face'. These performances range from plays and poems to dance movements and short films, demonstrating the vast talent and dedication that has come forward in these unprecedented times. In addition, there will be a range of workshops, guest speakers and daily activities that our audiences can get involved with.
We are also running weekly projects alongside the festival for other emerging creatives to engage with, creating a space for talented artists, designers, editors and photographers to showcase their work. Keep an eye on our social media to find out more!
As a not-for-profit project, we are extremely grateful for how generously people have given their time to take part, build a new creative family and create something incredible together. Thanks to everyone's hard work, dedication and talent, we have been able to create an online alternative so that theatre and the creative industry can continue to thrive during such difficult times.
Our first fundraising milestone is £500, which is the cost of organising, marketing and platforming of the festival.
We hope to go beyond this and raise a further £1000 to fund future Show Face projects, so that the momentum built up by this fantastic festival can continue to give our talented creatives the opportunity to collaborate and showcase their work. This money will be distributed in future projects, giving creatives a budget to expand upon their work and create further incredible performances.
All creatives involved are eager to keep this powerful project alive. Please help us in our innovative approach by donating, sharing, and most importantly, tuning in to the festival. We'll see you there!
