Who are we?

ReA! Arte is a non-profit association created to change the landscape of the art market. We are the first emerging artist fair - recognised by the municipality - that will take place in Milan, at Fabbrica del Vapore.

What is the project?

We are giving a chance to independent emerging artists to exhibit and sell their work in the heart of Milan. This will be a milestone on their artistic path, allowing them to be noticed by galleries and collectors. 

Where did this project come from?

The team is composed of 12 young entrepreneurs that come from various areas of the art field: artists, gallery associates, art dealers, curators and advisors. Having noticed the inequality and lack of opportunity given to emerging artists we wanted to make a change. The idea of an artist-oriented event comes from the need to help creatives have a fair chance on a level playing field. 

What’s the plan and what’s the schedule?

The fair will take place from the 30th of October to the 1st of November 2020, at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. This 3-day event will be exhibiting 100 emerging artists chosen by the curatorial team from more than 500 applications.  Throughout the fair we will be presenting guest artists, performers and panel discussions led by art professionals. 
ReA! 2020 is the first edition of the annual fairs to come. 

What’s our budget?

As a non-profit that is organizing an artist-oriented fair, we need your help to support the artists and the association. Different from other fairs, we will not be charging an admission fee nor a booth fee for our artists. Although we have generated enough revenue to cover the necessary costs of the fair we need your contribution in order to make this experience truly unforgettable for both artists, and visitors. 

Why do we care? 

Due to the lack of exhibition opportunities for emerging artists in Italy, providing them with a chance to showcase their work became our primary mission. We want to establish more intimate communication between society and emerging artists.
Covid-19 crisis put the category at risk, preventing them from showing their work, which is so essential for their career.  We are a group of volunteers, recognising the opportunity that the current situation creates for young art professionals, ultimately making a change in the industry. Your contribution will give emerging artists a chance to endure their practice. 

We will reward every donation of over 100 euros with a 1st edition ReA! Fair exhibition catalogue, including free international shipping.

Chi siamo? 

ReA! Arte è un’associazione creata allo scopo di cambiare il panorama del mercato dell’arte. Siamo la prima fiera per artisti emergenti ad essere ospitata a Milano - con il patrocinio del Comune - presso Fabbrica del Vapore.

Qual è il progetto?

Diamo la possibilità ad artisti emergenti indipendenti di esibire e vendere la propria arte nel cuore di Milano. ReA! vuole essere una grande opportunità per il loro percorso artistico e luogo di connessione con gallerie e collezionisti.

Da dove nasce il progetto?

Il team è composto da 12 giovani imprenditrici con differenti background alle spalle: artiste, galleriste, mercanti d’arte, curatrici e consulenti. Di fronte alla disuguaglianza e carenza di opportunità per gli artisti emergenti, abbiamo scelto di generare cambiamento. Nasce quindi l’idea di un evento orientato sugli artisti, con la volontà di dare ai creativi una possibilità entro un contesto di pari opportunità.

Qual è il programma?

La fiera si terrà dal 30 ottobre al 1° novembre 2020 alla Fabbrica del Vapore a Milano. Durante questi tre giorni verranno esposti i lavori di 100 artisti emergenti selezionati da parte del team curatoriale tra oltre 500 candidature. Saranno inoltre presenti guest artists, performers e verranno tenuti panel da parte di professionisti dell’arte. ReA! 2020 è la prima delle edizioni che si terranno con cadenza annuale.


Qual è il nostro budget?

In quanto associazione non profit impegnata nella creazione di una fiera orientata sugli artisti, abbiamo bisogno del vostro sostegno per supportare gli artisti e l’associazione stessa. Diversamente da altre fiere non addebiteremo agli artisti una quota di ammissione né una quota spazio. Pur avendo raccolto sufficienti fondi a coprire i costi base, abbiamo bisogno del vostro contributo per rendere questa esperienza veramente indimenticabile sia per gli artisti che per i visitatori.


Perché ci teniamo?

Data la scarsità di reali opportunità espositive per gli artisti emergenti in Italia, nostra priorità è quella di creare le condizioni per mostrare il loro lavoro e intensificare la comunicazione tra società e artisti emergenti. La crisi scatenata dal Covid-19 ha esposto questa categoria a un grande rischio, impedendogli di esibire i propri lavori, aspetto essenziale per la loro carriera. Siamo un gruppo di volontarie, che punta ad una fiera capace di dare un’opportunità a giovani artisti professionisti e di cambiare l’industria dell’arte. Il tuo contributo darà la possibilità ad artisti emergenti di sostenere il proprio lavoro.
