Shades Tattoo Initiative Support

Shades Tattoo Initiative is a community group and safe space set up to support black and IPOC tattoo artists working in the U.K. It is here to help give information to black and IPOC clients and to serve the tattoo community as whole.We offer support and networking for the artists and hope to help improve the treatment of the black community within the tattoo industry. There is great necessity for anti-racism work within tattoo studios and the industry and we are here to do our part to make tattooing a more inclusive environment, where black and brown people are treated properly and have positive experiences in tattoo environments.

Here you can donate to support the initiative. Funds will be used to go towards building and maintaining a website for the group. This will allow us to better provide networking to further connect black and IPOC tattoo artists, black owned studios and the clients who would like to find them.
Funds will also be used to pay black IPOC educators for their time and other running costs.

The group will itself be doing various art fundraisers to add to this but any support is gratefully received.
