Please help us replace our Tractor ..
Since the club was formed in 1875, Hurst Cricket Club has always been, and will continue to be, a family club.
The club runs two sides on Saturdays and a dedicated colts section aswell as a
ladies softball team. Our social members
are local and families from afar.
Our ground is considered to be one of
the prettiest in the Thames Valley and
surrounding areas and years of
dedicated grounds men have developed a quality wicket which, over the years,
has given us the opportunity to host
representative cricket from Under 11's
to Minor Counties.
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic
our club has had no income from either
social events, club matches, colts training
evenings or outside parties.
Our machinery and tools are mostly
donated or from the ARK! One evening
this week our tractor was stolen from
the ground and driven away never to be
seen again. A police report has been
made.
We do not have the funds to replace this
at the time being and have kindly been
offered a mower to use to enable club
cricket to continue.
We would very much like to up security
in the clubhouse, it’s grounds and
storage areas, with bollards, cctv and
electric gates and buy a replacement
tractor.
Thank you.
