Over the last 10 years, I have worked hard to move forward from mistakes and situations I found myself in growing up. The one thing that I have not been able to escape were the felonies that are permanently on my record. No matter how hard I work or fight for a better life, these felonies always manage to hold me back in serious ways. My wife and I have gone through many struggles navigating this.
Not long ago, a major breakthrough happened. I connected with a very successful lawyer who feels confident that he can help me get all of my felonies wiped clear from my record. This would mean I can finally close the door to that chapter in my life and step forward completely free and with a clean slate! We were just about to file our motions when we hit a bump in the road. The only obstacle in the way at this point were all of the fines we just discovered that are attached to those cases. We discovered $6,500.00 in court fees and fines as well as $2,000.00 to pay for the legal team.
This is not something that is easy for me to do, but I have been encouraged by close family and friends to open the door and invite people into my journey and be a part of this final chapter. By raising this money I will be able to pay all of these costs and finally be able to say I have no felonies on my record! This is a major blessing and something my family really needs to move forward. Anything that you are able to give would be DEEPLY appreciated and will mean the world to all of us! UPDATE: 08/28/2020- The goal was raised 2,000.00 because the interest on one of the fines was significantly higher than expected and totaled close to 2,500.00 in interest that is not negotiable. My legal team notified me that all of the fines need to be paid before they can proceed with the motions to set aside my cases. That being said, I have been overwhelmed so much already with your willingness to give and all of the support that has been shown!! Because of you guys, we really know that this is going to happen!
