Victory Project vs Pillars of Poverty
Since 2009, The Victory Project, Inc. (VP), a 501(c)3, after-school program, has mentored disengaged young men, 12-18, in Dayton, Ohio. Open year-round, six days a week, builds relationships, earning us the right to be heard. Over the past 11-years, VP has been an alternative to the street for hundreds of young men.
An uncommon alliance has formed between the business, criminal justice, and faith communities to allow inner-city youth to break the cycle of generational poverty through our comprehensive 3E curriculum, Education, Entrepreneurship & Enlightenment.
Sharing dinner every weeknight feeds us physically. Tutoring, and earning money at our micro-business feed us intellectually and emotionally. While Bible studies nourish us spiritually.
We are funded exclusively through private and corporate donations and grants. VP does not accept government funding. Currently serving up to 60 youth a day, we're seeking support for current operations and to make expansions.
