Dear all,
Thank you in advance for taking your valuable time to read why you should donate to my cause.
I am a small fish and chips business owner. I currently rent the property but with great difficulties staying afloat due to the pandemic.
The Fish and Chip shop has been here over 60 years and has had many different owners. It has been in my family for nearly 20 years.
Tib Street in Greater Manchester was once a very busy street until the Manchester Arndale opened and took the majority of people to Market Street.
The business relies on local office workers but due to the pandemic and people working from home, afraid to go out we are struggling. The shop is also hidden away from the main street and we are on a side street which isn’t helping us at all.
My dream has always been to own the property. This would give my family more stability, my staff more security as I would not need to keep changing their hours or cutting hours to survive. Luckily they understand and support me but at the moment we do know how long we can continue as we are.
By raising the money to purchase the property, it will give me the opportunity to revert it back to its original condition of 1960’s retro style.
I understand these are difficult times for everyone, but anything you could donate small or big would be greatly appreciated. Your support would be mind blowing for all of involved at the business. There will be so many happy faces if we can raise as much as we can.
