Help Us Preserve Farm for Kids & Wildlife

Want to join Button and Daisy in making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Raitt Homestead Farm Museum, and any donation will help make an impact during this difficult time. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.  Button and Daisy have really missed everyone that usually comes to visit during the summer during all the fundraisers, as have all of us.  At least a few times a week, people call and say they have missed coming to the farm this year.....

More information about Raitt Homestead Farm Museum: The Raitt Homestead Farm Museum is preserving the 33 acre farmland & educating future generations about farming history. The open fields and woods are the natural habitat for many different wildlife.  The garden program and yearly Tractor & Engine Show are an integral part in our education. All funds go to preservation of the farmland, maintenance of buildings and programs at the farm.

Why are we asking:  Because of COVID 19 and the gathering restrictions in the State of Maine we have not been able to hold any of our fundraisers.  The likelihood of us being able to recoup any of our fundraising between now and the end of 2020 is unlikely.  The revenue raised through the events is our major source of funds to meet expenses.  We are a 100% all volunteer organization.  Your support is vital at this time.
