We at Art of Love strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to access high quality practical education.
Our mission is to provide classes and activities to the people in the community by delivering various creative services & effective one-to-one, online & group tutoring sessions.
At Art of Love, we build our students’ confidence and gives each individual participant a focus and goals to work towards. We teach students music production and content creation to give them a chance to stand and work on their own.
We believe this fund is needed because:
Insufficient understanding of the potential value of creativity, cultural expression, and artistic practice to community development
Difficulty demonstrating and articulating the impact of creative community development.
Struggle with identifying arts partners and developing shared expectations and frameworks.
Need to avoid gentrification-led displacement and promote inclusion.
Difficulty in securing financial resources.
Students need content knowledge about language, math, science or civics, but equally, they need learning and innovation skills or 'life-skills', such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity for success in today's world. Our volunteers teach music, media and content creation. We believe that music / social media is a very powerful medium.
We provide our services in Wandsworth & Merton Borough of London and surrounding areas.
If you are able to, we kindly ask for a donation so we are able to deliver tuition & classes FREE of charge to young people from underprivileged and low-income families from within the community.
Your donation will help:
Reduce the multitude of barriers that young people encounter to participate in community social activities. Through our tuitions, barriers such as lack of knowledge and social ineffectiveness will be reduced.
It's also an opportunity for all young people in the community to develop skills, participate in community activities and work alongside their peers.
Secondly, it will provide the network and broader field with tools for and training in creative community development and outcome measurement.https://www.artoflove.london
Initially providing each student the opportunity to learn and start work on their own or participate in community events.
