Friends of Charity's Vittles Restaurant

Charity's Vittles Restaurant is a long time Smyrna, GA staple.  It was reopened on September 9th, 2019, after a complete remodel of the building.  

In February, 2020, Charity's Vittles was hit (along with the entire world) with the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Dine-in business was closed for two months.   Take-out only business was not enough and forced the owner, Charity Salyers, to sell her beautiful, red Mustang to raise the funds to keeps her employees working and doors open.  This was reported on world wide, so, you may have heard about it.

During the most difficult months, her original GoFundMe campaign helped raise money to feed our brave First Responders as well as those who were really hurting in our own community.   This included many elderly and those who had hungry school aged children.

Since reopening the indoor dining, Charity's Vittles has been operating at 25-30% of normal sales pre-Pandemic.  Since COVID-19 cases are rising again, the restaurant has lost even more business.   This is alarming, for sure.

Those of us who wish to help Charity's Vittles are called the "Friends of Charity's Vittles" and we want to help Charity keep her fine establishment open and running until times get better.   Please continue to come and dine-in at the totally clean, safe and COVID-19 aware and Socially Distanced restaurant.  Charity is a "clean freak" and disinfects continuously!  You can also order take-out as you have been doing the whole time.
