A HERO Who Lost His Life, While Saving Another's

Donation protected
My father, Ron Passmore, age 70, tragically passed away in a car accident on Friday, 11/27/20. I am at a loss of words writing this as my family and I are extremely devastated. I am honored to say he was my father, and would never change that for the world. As many people would agree, my father would literally take the shirt off his back to help ANYONE in need. He was the man to spend his life on the baseball field not only watching and supporting my oldest son, Antonio, but also raking dirt, drawing the baseball lines on the fields, and watering the grass at Ahwatukee Little League field on a daily basis. His passion was announcing games. My dad traveled all over Arizona and California in which he was both a volunteer and paid public announcer. He had a true love for the game. He was the official announcer for Ahwatukee Little League, USSSA Baseball, Champions League, Top Choice Baseball, as well as Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, AZ.

More than his love for the game was his love for his kids, and 13 grandchildren. Up until his passing my father worked 7 days a week to make ends meet and to be financially able to make my parent's financial ends meet.

**I'm not sure how many of you knew that my amazing father worked 7 days a week as a Medical Transporter. My father picked up not only lab specimens, blood samples, but also organs, regularly, in a daily basis. At the time of the car accident, he was actually on the 202 freeway transporting such specimens to not only the lab but to hospitals. My family has been notified by DPS who responded to the scene that in my father's car with him, were not only blood samples to be lab tested but a human heart that needed to get to the hospital. DPS was able to deliver all specimens to the lab and the heart was able to be delivered to the hospital on time, and in fact saved another person. My father is and will always be a hero. My hero!

My father is survived by my mother, Carmen, who is on full disability and unable to work and I would like to ask for ANY help possible to help my mother with his funeral expenses and future expense she will endure as my father was the sole financial provider. She now has all the financial burden to not only lay my father to rest but also just everyday living expenses, mortgage, and bills.

Any donation no matter the amount would be a great help to my mother. I cannot express how much it means to me and my family with all the love and support we are being shown from communities even outside of our own. My dad was an incredible and selfless man, there is no better man to honor and call my dad. Thank you all beyond words.... ⚾️
