Fairtrade Community Arts Festival

Donation protected
Fairtrade campaigning looks very different at the moment. Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 will see all our events move online. This is a great opportunity to meet and share as a UK wide community. Working with all the regions and nations of the UK we are planning a community arts festival with the theme Choose The World You Want.

Fairtrade Fortnight will run from 22 February to 7 March 2021 and our community arts festival is a grassroots led campaign, aligned closely with the Fairtrade Foundation's own campaign messages and plans.

We will have events featuring music, photography and spoken word, craft and dance workshops, baking and cooking demonstrations and more.

The aim is to celebrate Fairtrade, offer support and encouragement to Fairtrade campaigners who have been unable to campaign in their local communities.

This will be a fun, inspiring and entertaining programme of around ten events,  running throughout Fairtrade Fortnight and we are enormously grateful that most of our contributors are able to offer their time free of charge.

Events are being added all the time so keep an eye on our Facebook event page   for all the latest details.

If you run a group or business you can sponsor individual events - with your name and logo on the event page and promotional materials - for a donation of £50 or become an official sponsor of the festival for a donation of £20.

Any money we raise will be used to support contributors, some of whom will be based in the global south. We want to be in a position to honour the skills of our contributors who would not otherwise be able to take part. Any funds we don't spend will be used for future campaigns.

We are incredibly grateful for all contributions and will keep you updated with events as we book them.
