Blackstar DJs Worldwide is a newly formed Global Network of top Ghanaian DJs. Our mission is to harness the collective power, networks and influence of top Ghanaian DJs and influencers across the globe to grow a global market for the Ghana music industry in order to create several opportunities for established and up-and-coming Ghanaian artists and DJs outside Ghana, especially in USA, Canada and Europe. Our vision is to build the Blackstar DJs platform to become the future of Ghana music in the western market. 

Blackstar DJs was formed from the conviction that the fast-growing demand for Ghana music outside Ghana is waiting to be tapped. Besides the heavy dependence on family and friends networks in the Diaspora, the industry currently lacks the critical partnerships and systems  necessary to capitalize on the growing demand for Ghanaian music and talent outside of Ghana. Hence many Ghanaian artists are several degrees disconnected and oblivious to various  opportunities available to them in the western market. Blackstar DJs Worldwide’s mission is to fill this gap in order to unleash opportunities that can take Ghana music global and transform the industry

Here is how we plan to achieve this goal:

1.      Build and grow a global network of top and influential Ghanaian DJs across the world, and harness the collective power and influence of the network for the promotion and distribution of Ghana music and artists. The network is currently over 300 DJs strong and looking to grow to over 2000 within the next year. 2.     Build a Ghana Music Record Pool – The purpose of this is to centralize and streamline the distribution of Ghana music to provide Ghanaian DJs priority and easy access to old and new Ghanaian music. This platform will also make it possible for new music releases by Ghanaian artists and record labels to instantly reach an extensive global network of influential DJs with the click of a button. 

3.      Grow and Engage a Massive Online Community of Ghanaian Music Lovers as a channel for outreach as well as artists and new music discovery outside Ghana. 

4.      Booking Agency and Talent Market Place that connects Ghanaian talent directly with opportunities in the western world. The market place will also include an efficient talent booking system that will simplify and demystify the talent booking process and facilitate a trusted and transparent brokering process for both artists and event organizers/producers/clients.

5.      Building A Global Stage For Ghana Music & Artists Through Blackstar DJs Concerts,  Festivals and major productions across multiple cities.
