Help Kirstin L. Koyama Help the Palo Alto Creamery

Donation protected
The global pandemic had been tough on all, and especially onto small local businesses.

Kirstin L. Koyama passed away on December 13, 2020 (read more about her amazingness in her obituary ) and in her memory her family hopes to be able to help long time local eatery, the Palo Alto Creamery .

Kirstin started going to the Creamery in 1988 when she and her (future) husband would venture in regularly for weekend breakfast when they started dating and Kirstin lived just down the road. Through marriage, children, celebrations and sorrow the Creamery remained a constant.  There was never a doubt that 'let's go out for breakfast' meant walking down to the 'diner.'

Kirstin loved french toast with fruit (just no kiwi's), eggs benedict, omelets,  anything with pumpkin, and she loved their chocolate chip shakes most of all. For her birthday in November, she wanted nothing more than for everyone in the family to get the Creamery's 'shake, shake, shake' t-shirt.  And, of course, chocolate chip is the go to shake for her two daughters.

The Palo Alto Creamery isn't just an eatery, it's a vast collection of memories, and a true extension of home.

Small businesses such as The Palo Alto Creamery have  disproportionally suffered during the pandemic.  Partisan politics continue to stand in the way of doing the right thing for treasures like these that are the foundation of all great communities.

Through this gofundme, we hope to not only be able to help this valued establishment, but also bring more awareness to the challenges they, and institutions like them, are facing.
