Help the Stonehaven Business Association bring the Light the North lighthouse trail to Stonehaven to raise funds for CLAN Cancer Support.
CLAN provides information and support, counselling, complementary therapies, social and wellbeing activities and dedicated support for children and families. For those travelling to Aberdeen hospitals for appointments or treatment, they also offer affordable B&B accommodation at CLAN Haven alongside assistance with transport to and from hospital.
From March 2021 the 'Light the North' lighthouse trail will shine a light across the north-east, Moray, Orkney and Shetland. This is the latest art sculpture trail in Scotland following on from Oor Wullie to inspire artists, school and the public from across the country while raising fund for CLAN Cancer Support.
The SBA is committed to bringing one of the 2.5m tall lighthouses to Stonehaven. The individual lighthouse is being created now by two of our most talented artists - Jane Mota and Glen Brooks. And we hope that this will draw people to explore the trail and come to the Plainstones in the town to 'collect' our very own lighthouse.
CLAN has supported people in our community for over 36 years. The SBA and Stunning Stonehaven now need your support to raise the funds that CLAN deserves.
