I am creating a memorial to celebrate the life of my husband who passed July 7, 2020 in a FEMA death camp at CalExpo in Sacramento.  He died a broken-hearted man.  I absolutely MUST memorialize what happened to him.  I can't live with the guilt otherwise. I will save our home AND scatter his ashes at sea by his 70th birthday.

CRISIS began when California's Gov. Newsom recklessly, callously ordered the closure of the campgrounds March 18, 2020.  There was zero compassion on part of Sacramento County Park Rangers who forced us to abandon our RV home inside Sherman Island County Park, leaving my husband of 27 years to die on July 7, 2020 in a dusty, spider-infested FEMA death camp with ZERO medical care and only me to help him pass.   I was terrified.  I still have nightmares.  He had liver cancer, but it was stress of being made dependent on the greedy money-laundering scheme that is Project Roomkey (we were FORCED to be in it... I always demanded to be returned to our RV)...that was what made it so horrible for him.  He died knowing I would never be able to recover our RV home.  Well, he was wrong.  I did.

For the past 4 months, I have been living in my SUV, (since Oct 15 in San Francisco,  before that in campgrounds) sleeping in it at night, but using a tent in the day time, whenever I can find a place to set it out.   I have disability from SSI due to mobility issues but its the walnut size lump in my right breast that I am the most worried about in terms of the current pandemic Shelter-in-Place situation being dangerous for me personally to go into the "shelter system " (maternal aunt died of breast cancer).

I decided, because the physical and mental health matters make me vulnerable to actually dying, and the police in SF are "sweeping" all the so-called homeless left and right, finally on Dec 23, 2020, I was able to retrieve our home (an hour north of Truckee) right before the snows set in.

Unfortunately where I had it towed to (Great Highway between Riveria and Santiago in San Francisco's Sunset district) where there is zero tolerance for the RV dweller.   So while I saved it from the snow, I may lose it to sheer unadulterated hate of people who are "vehicle-dwellers".  I immediately started a HUNGER STRIKE as soon as it arrived.  Trying to get things done on my own due to zero help even available to a vehicle-dweller (as we are called by the media).

What has been done:  the fuel pump and ignition module in Sept. and the back 4 tires are practically new.

Needs (model is 1996 Gulfstream Conquest 102 and its 27' with a Ford F350 with 120,00 miles on it):

1) drive train put back in (I have a good mobile mechanic who works on it on Saturdays,  his day off, and I trust him...he begins on Dec 30th when I get paid ... I get SSI for mobility issues);

2) two front tires

3) brake job

4) small exhaust leak

5) smog + DMV

6) downpayment of $690 to expand my current Thousand Trails membership to the "Elite" pkg which lets me park the RV 21 days in any of the 7 private campgrounds in the area (within 150 mile radius of the Bay area)

7) hire someone to drive the RV to the new campground every 21-days while I follow in my small SUV (in photo, parked in front of RV)

This plan allows me to live in campgrounds for $224 a month plus cost of gas and a driver every 3 weeks.  The campgrounds are pleasant, have showers, bathrooms, hook ups, security, fences, and other RV lovers.

8)  sealant for holes in roof

9)  bit of wood to cover weak spots in floor

I am starting this fundraiser to inform these hateful people surrounding me of what my plans are.

My website where I discuss this in more depth is @ ramona-mayon.com and will be blogging updates as I make progress towards the goal of fighting off the haters long enough to save our beloved RV-home.

I have written a book  of essays:  Nomadic Proud on this hate of a subset of Americans who are nomadic.  I have written papers, published at https://independent.academia.edu/RamonaMayon  about worldwide hate speech of people who live on wheels.  I have – and will continue – to litigate  this.  It’s hate of another human for no reason except she lives on wheels and not cement.  Consider contributing to this FUNDRAISER if you think this is a civil rights issue.

UPDATE:
I have been fasting the "Daniel Fast" since Dec 24, 2020, asking God for a "hedge of protection" on our RV home.  My husband's spirit comforts me in our home.  Everywhere else I am bleak with sorrow.  I will not let it go.  I dare not or my heart won't survive.  The RV is running and the repairs almost done on the mechanics.
