Andrea Magana's Covid Recovery

Hi Everyone,
We want to share an update about how our mom, Andrea Magana is doing. At the beginning of the year she caught COVID and had to be hospitalized as it developed into Covid Pneumonia. The first few days in the hospital were scary as the infection in her lungs had begun to leach into her blood causing sepsis.
Since being hospitalized and receiving medication and oxygen her condition has begun to stabilise and improve. She is no longer in sepsis, but remains hospitalised till her condition improves enough to come home. This came on very quickly, and we are not sure how long the healing process will take.
Some of you have asked how you can help my mom and our family. We are still becoming aware of what our needs are and will update as details become clear.
These are the needs that we know of:
Prayer: Please keep praying for a quick and full recovery, as well as for peace and comfort for our mom and family. Please pray for all of the medical staff who are caring for her, that they would have supernatural wisdom and discernment as they treat her.
Encouragement: Encouragement from family and friends is so important to her recovery! One of the hardest things about COVID is not being able to visit our mom while she is in the hospital, talking on the phone is also very hard for her as it uses a lot of oxygen and it is hard to hear over the machines.
We are able to have items delivered to her room if you would like to send a card to our home we can drop it off for her. Video messages that she can watch are also so encouraging. I will be putting together a video compilation so that she can watch it on a larger screen/higher volume.

Finances: We do know that there will be a financial need in the coming weeks as medical bills begin to arrive and time off work takes its toll. I have set the giving goal at $10,000.00 but will adjust it as needed.
We are so grateful for all of the love and support we have received, as well as the medical staff who are caring for her. Our prayer is that the many others who have been impacted by this awful virus would know the love of Jesus through the body of Christ the way that our family has.
