Help me buy a new computer

Upon completing my first iOS app, my laptop's age really started showing through crashes and mind-numbing computing speeds. If I'm to grow as a developer I will need a new computer - I got my eyes on a Mac Mini setup that I could pull off for around 1500 dollars. Any help would be much appreciated <3
