Help a Widow Who Lost Her Husband to Covid-19

I created this GoFundMe for Don Stockwell and his wife, Linda Stockwell.
Two weeks ago, Don was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after having trouble breathing. He tested positive for COVID-19 even though he rarely left home - we don't know how he got it. He was given aggressive treatment, but after a few days his oxygen level dropped, and he was put on a ventilator.
On January 21st, Don died from COVID-19.
This was so sudden and devastating for his wife, Linda. She married Don when she was just 18 years old, and they were married for over 53 years.
After Don was hospitalized, we received more bad news - Linda tested positive for COVID-19.
As you can imagine, this has been physically, emotionally, and financially devastating for Linda. While this GoFundMe can’t ease Linda’s emotional and physical pain, it can help reduce the financial stress of the medical bills and funeral expenses. I'm asking for your help to ease this burden for her. Don and Linda are the kindest, most loving people I have ever known.
I have known them my entire life. They are my only aunt and uncle. Their daughter once said, "they would do anything for anyone," and it is very true. While growing up, I saw so many acts of kindness they did for friends and strangers without expecting anything in return. For years they gave assistance to a friend every week to help him make ends meet even though they struggled themselves.
Over the years, they cared for me as if I were their own child even though they barely had enough for their own children. It wasn't just because I was family, but because that’s just the kind of people they are. When I got married, Don walked me down the aisle. I saw Linda care for an elderly neighbor for years, and Linda has been delivering "Meals on Wheels" for several years, a volunteer organization that delivers meals to the elderly and disabled.
They have always helped their friends, family and children while going without...no vacations, no luxuries of any kind. They were rich in their generosity, kindness, and love of their family.
Don was the best of men. He was the best man I have ever known.
He was a no-frills, hardworking man who was just loving, kind and funny. When you saw him, you knew to expect some corny jokes and gentle fatherly advice. His son said, "He was Dad to everyone". Everyone who met him and Linda loved them.
That's why I am asking for your help to ease the burden on Linda. They did do much for others.
Please help Linda with whatever you can to help with the funeral expenses and medical bills. Any extra funds will go into a savings account for her since they did not have life insurance.
