Help Jon Allyn Get To California

Jon once worked for me as a driver. We remain in contact as he is frequently needy, and has nowhere else to turn. 

Jon is a competent driver, speaks four languages, is animal lover with a kind heart, and is healthy and not addicted. But he has had a difficult life. 

Currently Jon is sleeping in his car (with his dog) behind a motel in Framingham. That will not work when the weather turns colder next week. Massachusetts is not really his home, and he is not thriving here. He wants to be in California, and the warmer weather and liberal policies seem to be calling.

His car needs a clutch repair, and he needs gas and supplies to drive to California, where he has a relative, and memories of a better time. I'd like to help get him there, and show him that he is worthwhile. 

I've been giving him some of my time and money, but it's not enough to create a change, and it's weighing on me now. Perhaps my friends, clients, contacts and the world at large can lend a hand. I would be grateful, and so would Jon.
