Help Jade Vogelsang get a Car!

Jade Vogelsang is a beloved and brilliant trans woman of color and community member who has contributed so much of her life energy to Seattle’s night life, ballroom scene, sex worker organizing and more. She recently returned to Seattle from New York and has been in and out of shelters, hotels and hospitals, and is being significantly impacted by the way the pandemic has halted work opportunities for performers. We know these so-called safety nets don’t serve our community, and are often a source of additional harm and trauma.  

For that reason, Trans Women of Color Solidarity Network is working with Jade to fundraise so she can buy a car and meet some basic needs, which will help her with mobility, stability and having a place to stay. We love Jade and know that’s true of so many in our community, and we know she deserves safety and stability. Let’s make it happen!
