Ida’s “Covid Be-Gone” Plan

Support me in creating a new show!

Let’s put Covid-19 in the rear view mirror. To my mind, nothing can do that better than coming together, sitting in a theater and laughing. My plan is to have a brand new Ida show ready to go when things open back up again. It will give us all something to look forward to.

It takes more than you’d think to pull together a one woman show. I pitch in my efforts for free, of course, but there’s the set and graphics, PR photos, director and the like. Usually I pay for creating a new show by traveling around and entertaining folks. It’s “self-sustaining,” I guess you’d call it. But, since Covid hit, I’ve only had two live performances and I don’t expect to be doing others until it’s safe out there. After all, I’m no spring chicken!

So I’m asking for your help. I know times are tough, but donate what you can. Big or small, your contribution will be greatly appreciated. Think of it as putting some laughter in the laughter bank. When this Covid thing is all over, you can come see me and make a withdrawal.

Thanks so much for helping me share the healing power of laugher!
