Steve Huff is Faster Than Cancer

Since 2020 Steve has been working with his incredible team at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Fred Hutch, and UW Medical Center as they continue the race against his Stage 4 Upper Tract Urothelial Cancer. As Steve says, "We just need to stay

a little ahead of it to continue in the race."

Steve says 2022 is the best year of his life. Appearances at NHRA Nationals, 2 new World Records in the Electric Dragster, starting the Faster Than Cancer Foundation, winning the National Championship in the hydroplane, appearances at Cancer Centers and Children's Hospitals, featured at PRI, and spending time with so many students sharing stories of inspiration and education for the future. While also doing immunotherapy every 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, 2023 hasn't started out the way we hoped. While the team was in Daytona, Steve fractured his tumor-eaten vertebrae for the 3rd time. His latest images also show that the cancer on his kidney has started growing again. This has led to months of issues with severe pain and other complications that his medical team has been trying to address. All of this came to a peak over the last week with Steve being in and out of the hospital and ER trying to find solutions to all of the complications and severe pain levels. Needless to say, Steve has been unable to work at his usual efficiency or at all putting the financial burden of the shop and home in limbo.

Steve needs your help once again to get him through this next hurdle. The medical team is working on some relief by putting Steve through 5 more rounds of radiation on his kidney, we are waiting for timelines on that.
