Help us save Toot

BACKSTORY: Maria and Chris, Toot's owners, have spent many, many years serving the feline community. They've fostered as many cats as they've been able to and have a BIG heart for our furry friends. They are always ready to help when help is needed! Now, one of their beloved, Toot, is in dire need of help! 

After a grueling month of trips to the vet, the pet ER, followed by lots of testing, one of which included a chest tap to drain fluid surrounding his lungs, a conclusion was made for our cat Toot.

Toot has (finally) been diagnosed with FIP: Feline infectious Peritonitis. FIP is a mutation of the feline Corona. This condition is always fatal WITHOUT an expensive eighty-four day treatment.

Toot is a brave boy and his soul is kind and gentle.
He loves his companion Bella.
They are the most bonded pair.
We want these two to have more time together!

THE CURE: Toot is so precious and his humans love him DEARLY! In order for Toot to be cured AND to continue to live with his best life with both his feline + human family, he will need to start treatment immediately.  The treatment is called "GS441" and can be given in a daily injection, or pill. We are opting for the pill for Toot, as it is less painful for him!  The pill will be given once a day, for eighty-four days.  He will also need continued blood work to monitor his levels and an ultra sound to confirm that he has beaten FIP! 

We have started treatment on Toot, and have seen improvements already in just 3 doses. But, we need the help of our community to cover the costs of the continuing treatments and diagnostics. 

Every dollar that is donated will be used for Toot's treatments and additional medicines, as well as all of the diagnostics that he has received and will continue to need.  We are TRULY hoping for the best! 

Our hopes is to raise the funds necessary to cover Toot's medicine!
