When a morning walk, a smile and a sticky pinecone exchanges hands, an unimaginable friendship begins.
The PLAN
Have you ever had an experience that was so simple, yet so grand as if blessed by the heavens? Sticky Pinecones is one of those stories that is quiet, yet so profound in meaning, that without realizing it, can quickly slip from your grasp and be forgotten forever.
Filmmakers Travis Holt Hamilton and Michael Coscia are determined to not let this beautiful true story disappear by turning it into a short film that will be released during National Autism Awareness Month (April 2021) for FREE to all Autism organizations. The short film (approx. 5 minutes) will help create awareness to Autism and bring a greater understanding to all involved.
"Autism is a complex, lifelong developmental disability that affects essential human behaviors such as social interaction, the ability to communicate ideas and feelings, imagination, self-regulation, and the ability to establish relationships with others. We recognize that providing educational materials of signs and symptoms can promote awareness and spark empathy, acceptance, and change."

The GOAL
Raise $15,000 by 28 Feb 2021 to produce a high quality, highly effective short film that grasps the essence of the actual experience and can be shared for free to the world. The funds will be used to hire crew, actors, rent equipment, locations and including everything from preproduction, production and the postproduction process.
