Finishing the first 25 of This is America Too

At the start of 2016 I began a bold project to help share a glimpse of small town U.S.A. and rural America. The goal has been to spend a week in one very small town in every state across the country, discover the town's past, present, future, and sit down with locals to hear their stories. Currently, I'm sharing this journey through the ad-free website thisisamericatoocom . I have completed twenty-three of the fifty states, and now I'm planning my next trip to hit the halfway mark of twenty-five.  

In the spring of 2021 I will embark on a three week, two town trip from my home in Vermont. To celebrate the half-way point of the project, I will be making Red Cloud, Nebraska town twenty-four, which is twenty miles from the center of the lower forty-eight states, and Belle Fourche, South Dakota town twenty-five, located at the geographical center United States. Since starting this project, I have fully funded it with my own earnings, which has slowed my progress and made it more stressful than needed. Now, for the first time I am asking others for a hand to help me hit my next milestone. I estimate $4,000 is enough to cover the necessities (car rental, gas, food, and lodging) for three weeks and two towns. I am hoping to raise this by early April and any assistance is appreciated, even just telling others about my project. Thanks, and I look forward to sharing this spring's adventure.
