The Michael Lombardi Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Michael is my older brother. I present this scholarship at Henry Hudson during the Awards Ceremony.
The Michael Lombardi Jr Scholarship awards a Senior graduating from Henry Hudson Regional High School every year.   The Scholarship was started by family and friends who wanted to keep the memory of Michael alive in a school he loved so much. While attending Hudson Michael was  in The National Honor Society and in the top 10 of his graduating class.  He was on the baseball and basketball teams and played the drums in the school band.  Michael was also an extremely talented artist. 
Michael graduated from Henry Hudson in 1991 and was attending Monmouth College. In the Summer of 1992 Michael died as the result of a motorcycle accident.  Michael was very young when he passed away but in those short amount of years he touched many lives. 
Every year a senior is chosen to receive this scholarship. The funds are presented to them and they can use the money toward their college expenses.
