Blankets for St. Paul's Soup Kitchen

Donation protected
Hello Family, Friends, and Neighbors,

I have been volunteering at St. Paul's soup kitchen for many years with my Boy Scout Troop 56. It is both very heartwarming and humbling for myself and the troop to assist with a meal at St. Paul's. and serve those less fortunate. I've always seen the appreciation that every individual has for us being there. "Helpful" has always been one of my favorite points of the scout law, and this is one of the best ways to fulfill that.

Many of the people that utilize St. Paul's are unable to afford proper coats, blankets and heating. By providing them with blankets, my hope is that this will help them to stay warm throughout the remainder of the winter and future months for ears to come. My goal for the project is to make and donate 125 fleece blankets to the soup kitchen, and distribute them to its patrons over the next month.

The blankets will a high quality double-layered blanket that anyone can make, making it even easier for scouts and the community to help with the project.

The project will take place over March 6th and 7th, where the blankets will be made. After all blankets are completed, they will be distributed at St. Paul's during a meal.

Blankets will be distributed at St. Paul's and will be able to help many people in need stay warm in the cold. The blankets are high quality and will be able to be used for many years to come!
