I am starting this fundraiser because I am severely behind on some important bills. In August of last year, I turned my car back into the finance company because its gearbox gave up its last gear and that was an issue the manufacturer had never been able to fix along with a host of other issues. Also, in August I did something to my right knee and I had no money to get it looked at (everything would have been out-of-pocket) so I had to reduce my time on that knee until it healed up (which it has). 

In September, I began renting a vehicle through Uber and between road-time and some savings, I was able to stay current with that. But due to inclement weather now,  I'm behind on that rental along with my storage unit ($335 due on that). My rental costs $262 per week and every fourth week I start a new contract at $463 ($263 for the first week plus a $200 deposit) and I'm behind that last week and the start of the new contract (total: $725). They have worked with me before but I don't want to wear out that hospitality much longer. I just need to buy time to stay on the road enough to get through this rough patch and hopefully to the other side of my future. 

I've set the goal of this fundraiser at $1,000 to get started but anything over that will be put towards any other expenses and to build up a reserve savings fund to fall back on again if something happens to reduce my road-time.
