All Saints' Church Clock

There has been a clock in All Saints’ church tower for well over a hundred years, but the chiming mechanism is showing its age- not surprising when you consider how many ‘dings’ and ‘dongs’ it sounds each year (apparently over 1 million every 2½ years!)
A number of repairs have been made in recent years and the stage has been reached where spare parts are no longer manufactured or even available.
The mechanism needs to be replaced at a cost of just over £7,000 and any contributions towards this sum would be greatly appreciated by our congregation and members of the local community.
