Help a trans person starting over

Hello, my name is Jen (she/her) and I’m raising money for my dear friend to pay off their medical bills. They are trans and they are trying their best to make it in life. But their past and their toxic family are still so present in their life because of old health insurance bills. Those bills have been pilled up for years through their transition and while they were unable to switch to a statuary health insurance. They are unable to speak up against their transphobic family or distance themself from them because of those bills - instead the bills and that they are unable to pay them are used against them.

Since they are studying and couldn’t get a job, they still have to rely on their family to pay off those medical bills so they won’t go bankrupt.
Please help my friend who is studying to become a psychotherapist and ultimately want to help others, to get a new start in life.

All the money will go towards paying off the bills from the old insurance. This will ultimately help them live an independent and debt-free life and make it possible to part ways with their unaccepting family.

I’m keeping the identity of my friend private since I don’t want them to possibly receive any kind of hate. But I attached a picture of myself to make this matter more personal and give you an idea who is responsible for this fundraiser.
