Tender Days the Movie

Our goal is to produce a full length film called Tender Days which is a visual adaptation of the novella "Tender Days." A romantic drama that follows the lives of Betty, Jennifer and Regal. this film will contribute to giving a positive light to people of color in media.

This threefold plot is centered around Betty, Regal and Jennifer. Amid a tragic health scare, Betty finds herself learning to trust God more as she deals with cancer treatment. During this time, Betty finds unforeseen romance with Regal, who is learning to practice what he preaches. Betty is also a witness of God’s love and forgiveness to her co-worker and friend, Jennifer, who is struggling to salvage her failing marriage.

We want to gather funding by mid April of 2021 which is about two months away. We are hoping to shoot the film in early May of 2021. The funds will be used to benefit our crew, cast, and used toward location fees, rentals and publication for our film.
