Bring Back Goliad Farms

The Texas Winter Storm of 2021 has closed Goliad Farms – but with your help, hopefully not forever! 

Goliad Farms is a tropical fish hatchery in Goliad, Texas specializing in unique and beautiful freshwater fish in naturally plant-filtered greenhouses.  The hatchery has thrived under the leadership of Charles Clapsaddle, who has loved, studied, and selectively bred high-quality fish for over a half-century.   

Sadly, the crippling Texas winter storm and prolonged power outage resulted in an unprecedented drop in water temperature and the loss of over 90% of our fish.  Unique breeding colonies that had been in development for a decade or more… just gone.  The road to recovery is going to be rough.   

So many members of the fish community have asked how to support us. We hear you!  Goliad Farms would like to offer an “Ask Charles Anything” video series in return for your financial contribution.  When you give your support, give us a question!  Please ask your question in the comments section. Charles will use his decades of experience and encyclopedia-like knowledge to answer YOUR specific questions in a series of YouTube videos.
