Meme Children Center-Performing For Heavenly Homes

Tax deductible
I feel as if I have been called to raise money for an orphanage in Uganda in efforts to provide a more comfortable home for these beautiful children.  I have been donating to my strong and  selfless friend Juliet who runs the orphanage. She does so much for these children, and the love she has for them has filled my heart with the desire to help them out as much as I can.

However, due to my health issues that have forced me to take time off of work, I can only give so much. So I’ve decided to take a leap of faith, and start a GoFundMe for these children in need. I believe God has made it my mission to make their home more comfortable and livable – but I need your help.

It pains me to know there are people out there far less fortunate than us…
There are people who spend their day growing their own food and they wonder if they’ll have enough money for the seeds. People who have to worry more about serious crime and civil unrest in their country. People who devote their lives to provide for so many in need, despite the hardships and expenses of doing so.
And there are so many children without proper nutrition, healthcare, education, shelter, and security.

Something must be done. So I’ve decided to start a movement called “Performing for Heavenly Homes” which will assist people in need of a more blessed home by making them more comfortable and their way of life easier. I will be throwing virtual and live concerts to raise these funds (as soon as I am able to sing again). I am calling all people with talents they’d like to share to perform in their own way to help raise money for this cause as well. Together, we can all make a difference.

I thank God everyday for my blessings and of all things he’s given me, I have been most grateful for a cozy place to rest after facing the hardships and uncertainty of this life. Seeing how these children live has honestly made me realize that I take a lot of what I’m given for granted beyond the shelter of the house I live in. The ease of getting food, the warm bed I sleep in, my safety,  the health I do have, and the love I receive from my family of supporters like you are just some of the things I have - that these children don’t. I want to do whatever I can to make them feel loved and provided for. I am so thankful for people like Juliet who work so hard and sacrifice so much to care for these angels. I would love to go in person and assist, but all I can do right now due to the current state of the world is send them prayers and money. Please help me raise the funds needed to help Juliet do God’s work. No one should have to live this way.

There’s a lot to do to make their home more heavenly, but I accept the challenge and I hope you will join me in getting them what they need one project at a time! This is their forever home, so let’s work together to make them feel at home forever!

OUR FIRST PROJECT:
A little boy at the orphanage named Sedic died recently of malaria, and it's because they don't have enough nets to keep the mosquitos away.  Please help us prevent more children from dying due to them not having what they need.
The first thing I am fundraising for are malaria nets and mattresses. There are over 80 orphans in need, and most of them don’t even have a something to sleep on.  Some of the money raised will also assist with food while they wait for the seeds they planted to grow, as well as health visits and burials since these children are also in need of medical attention frequently and face tragedy.

This is one project of many, but this is a great start to getting them closer to having the kind of comfort we experience daily being as fortunate as we are. And with your help, I’m confident we can reach the goals for each project and put a big smile on every single child’s face. Nothing matters to me more than making them feel loved. So please show your love by donating whatever you can no matter how small, and I will be sure to post videos, photos, and updates on the progress we are making with every dollar you give.

***The funds go directly to the orphanage. I am a project coordinator for the WITEOAC non-profit organization, and so I make sure the funds you raise go to the orphanage we are raising money for.

Thank you all for being so supportive of my music and career! And thank you all for being so supportive of my mission! Let’s create a Heavenly Home for these beautiful children!

May God bless you abundantly for your prayers, donations, talents, and support.
