Eagle Grange #1 in Montgomery, Lycoming County, PA is a rural, family-based, non-profit organization dedicated to serving our surrounding communities. Eagle Grange was the first Grange organized in Pennsylvania and is celebrating 150 years of service to the community in 2021.
Eagle Grange is in the process of going through significant renewal efforts, of both the historic hall located along Route 15 just south of Williamsport, as well as increasing our presence in the community. We have held several take-out dinners, including a free "Share the Love" dinner in February. The Grange sponsors other educational and community events, such as a Candidates' Forum prior to the 2019 elections, a Road Rally scheduled for March 27, 2021, a Family Fun Carnival in July, and a free community concert where we will be honoring veterans in September.
We have also been working to update our historic hall to make it a hub for both Grange and community events. The Grange Hall is available for use by the community for events sponsored by the Grange and for private events. A current need for the hall is to update the HVAC system to allow for air conditioning in the hall. We are seeking to raise the money to install HVAC "split" units to improve the usability of the hall for future events. We thank you in advance for your support of this project!
