Cultural Ties Dance Festival/Movements of the Diaspora
  We are thankful for the past year's success and look forward to every year towards creating a bigger and better festival experience!

Cultural Ties Dance Festival is funded through sponsorships from community organizations and community members like you. We share the passion for the history, culture, and movement of the African Diaspora as it is deeply rooted in the cultural make-up of New Orleans. 

Your donation towards  Cultural Ties Dance Festival will be applied towards the numerous professional performing artists who are instructing and also in support of the dance scholarships offered for the youth dance intensive.  Collectively the festival is a unique experience for individuals to celebrate NOLA’s Cultural Communities through dance. The festival provides dance classes for adults and children, hosts a week-long Youth Dance Intensive,  showcases exhibits, dance concerts, various workshops, lectures, and more. 


As always we greatly appreciate your contributions and are honored that the community has chosen to support this wonderful festival thus far. Join us once again as we gear up for a spectacular dance extravaganza!!
