The Nick T Band are proud to be releasing our first single in support of NHS Charities Together.
This has been a crushing year for most people. As a band we were hoping to get into the studio to record our first album and start doing regular live shows. Watching all of our hopes and plans for the year fall apart has been rough, really rough. But we are determined to create something positive and one of the most positive forces during this pandemic has been the NHS.
The Bounce is a funny little song that popped into my head about 2 years ago whilst I was driving home from a gig one evening. I had the image in my head of a comical old American Frontiersman a la Gabby Johnson in Blazing Saddles. I really liked the song but it was far too silly for any of the projects that I was working on, even as a comical song for a country album.
As a band we decided that we wouldn't be beaten by a pandemic and although we aren't able to record our album to the standard that we would like during lockdown. We could record a single and so 'The Bounce' has found it's time to shine. Available on all platforms including Amazon music, itunes and Spotify from 09/04/2021 with all proceeds for the first 6 months being donated to NHS Charities Together. Come join the fun and do the dance! Post it on socials #thebounce and lets earn some money for the institution that is fighting so hard for all of us.
