Mission Donations in Memory of Mike Farrington II

Donation protected
It is with the greatest sadness that we share that the Farringtons have lost their beloved son, Mike Farrington II (Deuce), in a tragic accident. Loved and cherished by many, he was the very best possible son for his parents, Mike and Julyn, and a loving brother to his sister, Kayla.  As his father told me, he bore much fruit of the Holy Spirit which nourished his many loving relationships. Mike was a senior in high school at Sugar Hill Christian Academy, where he had been since kindergarten and was a servant leader for many.  In addition to his high school diploma, he had also earned his Associate's degree from Liberty University.

12Stone Church has been home for the Farrington family since Mike was in kindergarten, and they were pioneers for the Sugarloaf Campus at Peachtree Ridge High School where Mike and Mike II were on the early-hours set up team. They have been faithful members serving wherever needed. When the doors are open, they are there!

To honor young Mike, the Farringtons would like donations to go to their favorite mission in Honduras, Bridges Across the Mission Field, headed by Kenneth and Nikki Snipes with their two young children, Jack and Mary. The Farringtons met the Snipes in the Atlanta area prior to their departure to Honduras in early 2020 (yes, right before the pandemic lockdown!). A month into their mission work, the Honduran government mandated a lockdown on the entire country due to Covid-19. During the lockdown and forward, the Snipes have partnered with existing ministries that have deep roots in Honduras. Through their ministry, they have been able to feed thousands who have lost jobs from the pandemic, build houses for those who were hit by the 2020 hurricanes and have worked with local schools to teach English and share the Gospel.  Recently they have also partnered with a local pastor to begin an outdoor adventure discipleship ministry for young people in the community.

Mike and his dad had plans to visit Honduras this summer after Mike's graduation to assist in home building for the Honduran people. What a disciple young Mike was for the Kingdom!

Thank you in advance for your contribution to honor this very special young man who now lends his voice to worship with the angels.  Please pray for this dear family and all who loved Mike for comfort and peace during this time.
