Sliabh a’ Mhadra ag Siúl

AS you all know the Parents Association offer a number of supports to the school and pupils each year and we have continued to do this throughout the Pandemic. We provided treats to the children in the First Communion and Confirmation classes, gifts, and treats for the graduating class along with a Santa visit and gift for every child at Christmas and a talk on Protecting Your Childs Mental Health for Parents.
We have been able to do all these things because of the great help and support we receive from you the parents with all our fundraising activities. Unfortunately, the Pandemic has totally curtailed our fundraising efforts, last year as usual we had planned our sponsored walk and a Golf Classic none of which could then happen.
So, this year we have decided to launch our Sliabh a’ Mhadra ag Siúl online fundraiser and would really appreciate your support and participation. We propose to hold a virtual walk and ask that between May 4th and May 25th everyone goes out and completes a walk for the school and then make a contribution to a GO Fund Me page we have set up, the link to which you can find below or on the Parents Association Facebook Page. You can post to the Parents Association Facebook page when you have your walk completed and tag your friends, family and past pupils to join in and complete a walk for the school.
The money raised will continue to support the normal Parent Association individual class events, seasonal fun activities and in addition will contribute to upgrading the school’s IT equipment benefiting and supporting our children’s learning.
We would appreciate as much support as possible along with everyone getting out and enjoying the fresh air and having some fun.
