Water for Sudan

Tax deductible
The 7th grade reading class of Mt. Pulaski Grade School has recently finished a novel “A Long Walk To Water. ” Not only did we learn about the war, in South Sudan, forcing many groups to flee their land in 1985, we learned of the millions of people that do not have access to clean drinking water, even today. As a 7th grade class we have found a passion for helping others and bringing awareness to something we take for granted each day.

Young children, in Sudan, walk an average of 11 hours per day, losing 443 million school days each year. The MPGS 7th grade class would like to raise $10,000 to help support children, our age, gain access to water by funding a well, so that kids can spend more time earning an education and not have to endure the difficulties of water related diseases and death .
