Help April recover

On Saturday evening April Charlesworth was in a tragic incident resulting in potentially life changing burns to her face, chest and hands. She has not yet looked in the mirror to see herself, however I have uploaded a picture of just her hands.

She is absolutely heartbroken that she has to get to know a new reflection, but getting home to her 7 year old son is all that matters and what is keeping her fighting.

We are so proud of April and the progress she is making day by day. If you know April, she is a beautiful person on the inside and out. There to help anyone and set the best example for her son.

April has spent many years working as a support worker for vulnerable adults and has enjoyed every minute of her rewarding job.

She will be unable to return to work for a while and is already worrying about her finances.

We know the road is going to be extremely challenging whilst April recovers, both physically and mentally.

We are hoping to raise enough money to help April on her road to recovery without the added pressure of her expenses.

Nothing will ever repair what has happened to April but we look to you to see if there is anything anyone would like to donate for April’s long and winding road. No matter how small, everything will help!
