Thrivalaska (play n learn) is hosting a First Friday fundraiser!
Typically, we transform the building into an art gallery and invite families and the community in so we can display our students' hard work from the past year.
This is something we spend the whole school year planning for and looking forward to!
First Friday is also an important fundraiser for us.
The money we raise from this event is what we use to purchase all of our art supplies for the coming year. These funds, give our kids the chance to get to use real, quality art materials and to learn all kinds of techniques. They build their self-esteem, learn new vocabulary, practice their motor skills, and learn how to identify and express their emotions through art.
All children deserve this high level of education and your support makes that a reality for children in Fairbanks!
