March 21st, 2021, Doug was airlifted to Little Rock Hospital due to severe pneumonia. Since then, Doug has been suffered multiple strokes, been induced into 3 coma's, has had a tracheotomy, and now has complete kidney failure. Doug has been a fighter through all of this including the days where he was coming out of his coma and completely ripping out all of his IVs and breathing tubes.
As many of you may know Doug, is a father, grandfather, husband, friend, and one hell of a DJ. Many of you have heard his DJ skills on the radio as he had produced mix shows for hundreds of stations around the world. Doug is always the light of the room and always willing to lend an ear or anything that one would need.
Doug's passion always has and always will be music. Many may know this but Doug is also a huge Prince fan and the doctors and nurses have Prince playing in his room 24/7 as it is helping encourage movement in his toes and feet. Doug is responding to his name or even been caught following nurses around the room with his eyes. However, the response is purely minor movement and has not had any success verbally communicating.
Doug, however, is not going to be the same. After suffering as many strokes as he has along with his failed liver there is a chance that Doug is not going to make it out of the ICU. If the worst does happen, Doug will be leaving behind his Wife, 3 Children (youngest a senior in high school), Grandchildren, and his mother that he also helps take care of.
Over the last 5 weeks, Doug's wife Angel has had the strongest of spirits and spends 3 hours round trip to drive from home to the hospital so she can work to cover monthly bills and still see her Arkansas DJ.
I am reaching out to everyone as I would like to raise money for the family to cover the following costs:

If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Doug and talking to him for 5 minutes, you would know how great a person he is. Doug would do anything for anyone if you knew him for 5 minutes or 5-years.
