STEM Education for Marginalized East African Girls

Donation protected
STEM Education for Marginalized East African Girls.

Our Mission: To offer free STEM education via a 4-day STEM bootcamp, to East African girls in remote coastal regions. We aim to equip our young sisters (Mvaha Wa Chiche) with innovative ways on how to positively transform our communities and the African continent at large.

Time and Location: This STEM bootcamp will take place in the remote villages of Kilifi, over a period of 4 days, in December 2022.

Our Beneficiaries: 28 teenage girls aged 14-18; who are from underserved communities and lack access to STEM education (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics).

Our Approach: Providing accelerated STEM courses and hands-on projects, including mentorship from global leaders in STEM.

Impact of your Donation: Spread awareness of STEM fields among girls who can't afford education, raise the next generation of African women leaders in science engineering and mathematics, reduce the rate of teenage pregnancies among girls in our underserved community and consequently increase entrepreneurship and technical innovation.

A little goes a long way!

a $25 gift will feed one girl for the entire bootcamp.

a $30 gift will provide safe transport for one girl.

a $100 gift will sponsor a girl’s participation in our STEM bootcamp.

a $450 gift will provide toiletries, boarding essentials and sanitary towels for all girls.

a $500 gift will sponsor our meeting space and computer lab.

a $700 gift will provide safe housing accommodation for all girls.
