hi everyone! i'm fundraising to just help myself out because i dont have a steady income. long story short, my mental illness has kept me unemployed for quite some time, and im running out of funds. keep reading if you want the breakdown.
i'm going to move out before my landlord sells this house. we aren't on a lease, so i don't expect the new owners to keep us living here. i've decided i want to jump ship before that happens, and move in with my girlfriend. i want to raise money to so i can pay my half of the rent, which will be around 900 CAD. bills will be 100ish so lets call it 1000 on rent and bills. my phone bill is 115 per month.
i'm currently not working for a couple reasons. 1, the pandemic. 2, i'm pretty mentally ill. i haven't worked since december 2019 because i was extremely suicidal. working in office environments and such really sets off my mental health. so far i've been able to take care of myself, but it's pretty costly. i spend about 250 per month on prozac, latuda, and quetiapine for my bipolar II disorder, depression, and insomnia. i spend 85 every other week for therapy. and the 3rd reason is that i'm a journalist, and the field is........murky to say the least.
if you're counting so far, thats 1535 CAD a month, and my income is mostly provided by CRB
i also have to pay back 1400 CAD because of taxes on CERB that i was receiving last year
i need another 900 for the HPV shot, which i didn't receive in grade 8, because i did not go to school here. i aged out of it before realizing i need it. now i've got some health complications, and its best to get the shot to avoid things getting worse.
so far, thats 3835
moving costs are TBD but lets call it 200? im sure it'll be more. my credit card minimum payment is about 120 per month. i'd like to pay it all off eventually. im not even THINKING about my student loans.
honestly every penny will be going towards medication, bills, or rent.
